Yes. First Page understands scene headings, action, characters, parentheticals, dialogue, transitions, and the page spacing that connects them—so the screenplay stays properly formatted as you write.
Reader can open compatible scripts without an account. Creating, changing, saving, printing, or exporting a script requires a signed-in account with First Page One, Suite, or Lifetime access.
First Page One and Lifetime licenses keep local editing available offline after activation. Suite keeps an offline outbox and resumes account-scoped cloud sync when the connection returns.
Reader is free and needs no account. It can open, read, navigate, and view a script’s title page. It cannot type, edit, save changes, print, export, use cloud storage, or collaborate.
No. A lapsed Suite membership removes Suite and cloud capabilities, but never removes a separately purchased First Page One license. Without editing access, compatible local files remain readable in Reader.
